What is a Certificate of Need (CNC)?

To establish a health facility in Puerto Rico, you must demonstrate the need and convenience of a health related facility, such as a clinical laboratory, hospital, etc. The CNC also requires demonstrating the economic and financial feasibility of the proposed health facility.
